No “bag in box” wine is meant to last a long time. It's made to be kept in the refrigerator — complete with a handy spigot — so that anytime you want a glass of wine, you don't have to pull a cork or open a screw top. The wine is within your price range and is often uncomplicated and enjoyable. However, keep it refrigerated and don't expect it to last as long as a white or red wine. Roses are more "delicate," lasting about a third as long as whites and roughly a sixth as long as reds. A good rule of thumb is check the producer's enjoy by date. For example Bota Box Dry Rosé keeps the wine fresh up to 45 days after opening.
