Should I decant my Rosé Wine before serving?

If the wine is showing indications of diminution, leave it for up to 30 minutes.

Most rosé wines do not require decanting. Some aromatic molecules, such as the passionfruit flavor in a Pinot Noir rosé, actually drift away! So, the only time you should decant a rosé wine is if it has been "reduced."

Rosé wine that has been reduced simply lacks aromas. If you only detect “mineral-like” flavors and very little fruit aromas, your white may have been reduced. It's no big deal!

Pouring the "reduced" rosé wine into a decanter will let you smell a lot more fruit fragrances!
